Our friends at Take Flight recently published a Parkour video that is absolutely a must see! It’s called “Back to the Origins” and it stars Take Flight pro Andrey Inf and collaborator Alexandr Zhurkov tracing the birthplace of Parkour: Lisses and Evry France.
If you don’t know much about the history of Parkour, then trust us when we say that the locations here were THE locations where all the original Parkour videos were shot starring David Belle, Sebastien Foucan, the Yamakasi, Le Releve, Les Traceurs, and others in the mid to late 1990’s. The Dame du Lac is the most prominent location, but also the city center of Lisses, the school in Lisses, and the Three Red Walls square in Evry are perhaps the most iconic locations from the early Parkour days all of which are featured in this video.
